Top 5 Reasons to Attend Flagship 2022

Contents

Is it really the third year of going virtual when it comes to industry events?! We know there’s fatigue living in the virtual world, but we figured listening to industry experts on feature management and experimentation is best done with your pet by your side and snacks of your choice (not to mention, you can attend Flagship while in your comfy clothes).

On March 9th and 10th, Split is hosting Flagship 2022 | Leaders of The Next Best Practice.

Today’s innovations become tomorrow’s best practice, and eventually industry standards. At Flagship 2022, we’ll reveal what it takes to be at the top of the game in digital product development. With more speakers, companies, and partners than ever before, we are happy to bring you the ins and outs of feature management and experimentation from the comfort of your own home (virtual) and to watch at your leisure (on-demand). All you have to do is register, and I’m here to tell you why.

Sneak Peek — Top 5 Reasons

  1. A/B Testing With an Expert — Ronny Kohavi!
  2. Learn How to Minimize Risk of Deployments
  3. Sneak Peek of Split’s Roadmap
  4. Hear Best Practices From Split Customers
  5. Learn Experimentation From a Harvard Professor
  6. BONUS: A Comedian Walks Into a Virtual Conference…

Reason 1: A/B Testing With an Expert — Ronny Kohavi

Reason 1 is two words: Ronny Kohavi. Best-selling author and former executive at Airbnb, Microsoft, and Amazon, Ronny is joining Flagship 2022 as a keynote speaker to chat about how to accelerate innovation with A/B testing.

Ronny Kohavi has a very impressive background when it comes to experimentation and machine learning. With a Ph.D. in Machine Learning from Stanford University, a BA from Technion in Israel, and having co-authored the book, Trustworthy Online Controlled Experiments: A Practical Guide to A/B Testing with Diane Tang and Ya Xu, Ronny Kohavi is a visionary in the space. In addition to all of the incredible accomplishments just mentioned, Ronny received the Individual Lifetime Achievement Award for Experimentation Culture in Sept 2020 and is currently teaching and consulting.

Ronny’s keynote session is one you won’t want to miss. Register for his Flagship session today!

Reason 2: Learn to Minimize Risk of Deployments

Reason 2 comes to us from Ancestry Senior Development Manager, Geoff Rayback. Ancestry uses Split to minimize risk in production deployments. Learn how Geoff and his team at Ancestry used Split to escape a “vicious cycle” of low-velocity rollouts, high-cost failures, and late night deployments; and in turn, replaced it with a new “virtuous cycle” focused on improving speed, safety, and employee peace of mind. The impact on developer experience and team velocity is striking to hear.

But, what drove this culture change? Join his session to find out!

Reason 3: The Scale of Split — Roadmap Review

Reason 3 focuses on Split’s innovative Roadmap. 2021 was a busy year for the product managers, designers, and engineers here at Split! Recent and upcoming releases include rollout boards, workspace view permissions, dimensional analysis, integrations with key partners, and API enhancements across the board.

In this session, Split VP of Product Matthew Cordasco and CTO Pato Echagüe will highlight some of the most important additions we have to our product roadmap, as well as, exciting new capabilities that will serve our customers over the next 12 months. Don’t miss this one!

Reason 4: That’s What They Said…

Reason 4 hands the mic over to Split’s very own customers. More than 10 Split customers will take the stage and speak about how implementing experimentation in their development process has impacted the way they do business for the better. Watch and listen to direct sessions with Comcast, RappiBank, Experian, Google, Inception Health, Cisco, Ad Hoc Labs, First Command, Swiss Marketing Group, Ancestry, and more.

Our clients love experimentation so much that they’re willing to take the time to show us how they tried something new, reduced risks, and gained the freedom to scale. Register today!

Reason 5: Learn Experimentation From a Harvard Professor

What, like it’s hard? Building a data-driven culture requires business experimentation at scale. However, the limitations of basic controlled experiments make standard A/B testing a poor candidate for widespread adoption. Harvard Business School Assist. Professor Iavor Bojinov argues that next-gen experimentation requires developing novel statistical methodologies and a new understanding of the operational implications of this seismic shift in product development.

Is a clear solution emerging? And, what can leaders do to successfully transition to the next level of experimentation? Register your spot to see the future.

Reason 6: A Comedian Walks Into a Virtual Conference

We are thrilled to announce that Flagship 2022 will feature a fireside chat with none other than the critically acclaimed comedian, actor, and New York Times Bestselling author, Ali Wong.

What does a celebrity comedian have to do with experimentation? A lot more than you realize.

Join the session: Process, Experimentation, and Risk to find out how experimentation ensures that you land the right experience (or joke) to the right audiences. Join us as we discuss experimentation, risk, and more!

This session with Ali is LIVE ONLY. No replays will be available — So don’t miss out!

Do you have a conflicting schedule? Not to worry! Register today for Flagship 2022 and unlock a world of on-demand content that’s ready when you are!

We can’t wait to have you join us at #Flagship2022!
