Today, Split announced DECISIONS, the first industry conference focused on insights-driven product development. DECISIONS is the only event that brings engineers, product managers, data scientists, and thought leaders together in a single forum, to explore how teams are making insights-driven decisions to build software and deliver exceptional product experiences.
With DECISIONS, Split’s mission is to shine the light on the shift that is occurring at the nexus of continuous delivery, data-driven experimentation, and qualitative user feedback. Through DECISIONS, Split aims to provide a platform that can facilitate an exchange of ideas amongst the key stakeholders – Engineers, Product Managers, and Data Scientists – so that as a community, product development teams can work smarter, deliver better software and continue to move faster.
Promoting the theme of Smarter, Better, Faster, Split expects to draw over 300 attendees to the first annual DECISIONS conference which takes place on October 2, 2018, at the newly renovated JW Marriott hotel in the heart of downtown San Francisco.

What to expect
DECISIONS 2018 will feature a mix of thought-provoking keynote sessions, expert panels, and fireside chats with industry leaders, and hands-on practitioners alike. Between sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with their peers and network with the industry’s most cutting-edge product development teams. Moreover, in true industry fashion, we’ll close the day with a great invite-only VIP party.
“The speed of innovation in the software industry is exhilarating, but can be quite daunting for product development teams,” said Adil Aijaz, chief executive officer at Split. “It impacts how products are developed and has given rise to an entirely new set of tools and processes – not to mention the cultural transformation of the teams who adopt them. This transformation has created a struggle for teams wanting to make the right decisions at every step in the workflow while delivering risk-free, valuable software. We feel a deep responsibility to provide a platform that can facilitate an exchange of ideas amongst everyone impacted – Engineers, Product Managers, and Data Scientists – so that as a community we work smarter, deliver better software, and continue to move faster.”
True to our Bay Area roots, DECISIONS 2018 will infuse technology, diversity, culture, excellent cuisine, and fantastic weather! And why not? We might be tech geeks at heart, but take a moment to pause while you attend DECISIONS 2018 to enjoy the fine wines Northern California has to offer, delicious food, chic cafes, art museums, and nightlife in this captivating city by the bay.
