Charles Wu

Charles is a Data Scientist at Split. As our Statistical and machine learning expert, Charles has been implementing statistical solutions to enable accessible yet powerful ways to experiment for Split users. From a joint degree in psychology and German, Charles went on to obtain a PhD in neuroscience at Carnegie Mellon, where he took world-class statistics and machine learning classes. Prior to joining Split, he also focused on building machine learning models to understand human behavior and treat brain diseases. As a result, he is also keen on boosting our product with more sophisticated machine learning methods to drive automation. Outside of work, you can find Charles climbing rocks indoor and outdoor, or playing volleyball at tournaments across the country.
