Remove Split or Segment from an environment

If a Split or Segment has been configured in an environment, you can remove the Split so it is no longer returning a definition.

If you’d like to remove a Split or Segment from an environment,

  1. Navigate to Split or Segment page within Split.
  2. Select the environment tab you’d like to remove it from.
  3. Select Remove from Environment.
  4. Type REMOVE in the confirmation modal

Note: By removing the Split or Segment you will be archiving any events associated with that Split including, traffic history, targeting definition and audit logs.  If the Split is in your code, it will return the control treatment since there is no definition.
